Tyler has been a life long resident of Greater Sudbury and is an alumnus of Laurentian University, where he graduated in the spring of 2014 with a B.A (Law and justice). In October of 2014 he ran and was elected as a Catholic school board trustee during the municipal elections, making him one of the youngest trustees in the province.
He then began a career in a profession that he has loved since he was 12 years old.
