The Village Restaurant has been around for as long as I can remember and is like going home for a real home cooked meal. My first experience at The Village was on the "dinner" side with my daughter and husband. I ordered a hot turkey sandwich which was one of my favourite childhood meals. The sandwich and fries were amazing- just like mom used to make. REAL white meat carved from a freshly roasted turkey and the gravy certainly didn't taste like it was out of a can. I loved the quaint atmosphere and was super impressed when my daughter asked for ice tea and the waitress informed us they were out of it at the moment. A few minutes later the ice tea arrived and I gave her a puzzled look. She told me she sent one of the "boys" out to get it for her. Old fashioned food and great customer service has kept me coming back to the Village again and again.
