Fine Dentistry

I have had some difficult experiences with incompetent or predatory dentists (and physicians}. I feel very lucky to have found one that I can fully admire and trust, and so I go to great lengths to use only that one dentist. I happened to be in Sidney, BC, some 4,000 miles away from my own dentist, and had to have an emergency root canal done right away. I inquired around as best I could and finally chose Dr. Boyd, hoping for the best. And he is. He understood my anxiety, explained every last detail of what he was doing, and did it perfectly, taking every care possible. My tooth and gum were in bad shape, but it is now six months later and all is just as it should be, just perfect. He was as a bit more expensive than my own dentist, but that is because my own dentist gives me a break because I am old and poor. I also note that Dr. Boyd’s two assistants were astonishingly kind and competent.
