Mountain Equipment Cooperative

Excellent selection, great quality. This place means business when you want to experience the great outdoors anywhere. Everything from Freeze-Dried food, to mountain climbing (both indoor and out), to baby clothes, to cycling.. this palce has it all. There is a $5 membership fee since this is a Co-Operative but its a Lifetime membership for that $5 and it lets you vote for the board of directors as well as shop online/in the store. Its easy to get to on the Spadina or King Street streetcars and there is parking nearby for those driving. Definitely recommended.
