Lotus Tea House

This is a great vegetarian restaurant, and this is coming from someone that actually isn't vegetarian. I have a friend that is and asked if we could go here for a change, and I thought, why not? I am always up to trying new things. And I am sure glad I did. I really enjoyed their crispy noodles with mixed vegetables which came with a soup of the day (lentils), and an appetizer. They have a huge array of teas, and I had the Black Forest Tea, which sounds just like those lovely cakes taste. Super good! Their ice cream vanilla-raspberry crepes were a perfect ending to this meal. All that (which included leftovers) for under $20 tip included. Definitely well worth it. And being in a restored old Waterloo home gave it a really quaint and homey feel. It was a nice change.
