Eye Opener Diner

We ventured out to this place because we really wanted to find that perfect breakfast place for a regular Sunday morning treat. We are still looking.The place is clean, the service is wonderfully friendly and while there is a bit of a wait on the food, it didn't bother us in the least as the atmosphere is very laid back there. It all added to the experience. The food was okay. The sausages were amazing and extremely tasty but everything else was simply acceptable. The hashbrowns were most disappointing as they aren't cut into standard sizes. This left the smaller pieces seeming rather overcooked, while the larger pieces tasted too undercooked for me. I liked that they added onion to the hashbrowns but there wasn't enough of it. If it was local, we might have gone back sometime but it was quite the drive and, for us at least, just not worth it.
