We have been providing care of high standard since 1983. Orleans Child Care was the first Child Care Centre in Orleans, serving the parents of Ottawa East. Parents bear the responsibility for deciding what works best for their child and themselves. The centre provides flexibility and value: Hours 7am – 6 pm; Full/Part time care, convenient pick up/drop off location for the school buses and cars on route to work, extra curricular activities on the premises. There are new tools of understanding what young children need to thrive physically, emotionally and intellectually. Our emphasis is on early literacy and numeracy, problem solving and arts. Our programs are inspired by Early Years research study by Dr. Fraser Mustard. Each staff member in Orleans Child Care Centre is thoroughly screened before being hired. We also do a criminal check. Our teachers have the educational experience and training to help your child reach his/her full potential. Our Program Staff are Early Childhood diploma holders or working towards E.C.E. diploma. All staff at the Day Care undergo First Aid, CPR training and the annual updates. The real parenting expert is you, the parent. With changing society, our centre is providing focus on supporting parents as it relates to children’s need of nutrition, health, special needs etc. Our Child Care Centre provides a nutritious hot lunch each day, as well as nutritious snacks in the morning and afternoon. We not only know what’s good for children to eat, we know what children like to eat. Like you, we are interested in your child’s total development.
